Deer Hedge Run (DHR) is in Maynard, a town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, located 22 miles west of Boston, in the MetroWest and Greater Boston region of Massachusetts, bordering Acton, Concord, Stow, and Sudbury.

Brief History: Town of Maynard

Maynard was incorporated as a municipality in 1871 after buying land from Stow and Sudbury.
Once an old mill town, with 5.4 square miles, it is now a burgeoning destination for arts, entertainment, diverse restaurants, cultural events, shopping, and provides the ability to get lost in nature through the many wooded trails, Assabet River Rail Trail, and the Assabet River.
